Join us for an engaging panel discussion centered on the power and resonance of the Mass of the Americas, a groundbreaking choral work by Yale alumnus Frank LaRocca, debuting next month at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Tepeyac Hill, Mexico City. Rooted in folk, classical, and ritual traditions from across the Americas, this composition offers a striking musical journey that bridges cultures and centuries. Using LaRocca's Mass as our guide, we’ll explore how sacred music moves the human spirit—evoking awe, consolation, and connection—even among those outside the bounds of organized faith.
